Richard L. Hatcher

Richard L. Hatcher, 77, of Cottonwood died April 9. He was born February 16, 1933 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado, the son of Herman and Martha Hatcher. He served his country as a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Hatcher is survived by sons Timothy Hatcher and Mike Beecham of Cottonwood; daughters Jeanne Hatcher Hope (Stephen) of Denison, Texas and Tammy Hatcher; a brother John Hatcher (Cindy) of San Diego, California; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 1 PM. VFW Post 7400 will provide military honors. An online guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
