Richard W. Totels, 80 of Cottonwood, passed away on April 14, 2013. He was born on June 8, 1923 in Rockville Center, New York to John Totels and Mary Chirka. Richard attended New Paltz High School in New York. He served his country in the Army during WWII as Corporal and received 4 medals. Richard worked for DeLaval Separator Co. in Poughkeepsie, New York and Wappingers Central School District in Wooping Falls, New York for 30 years. Richard\u0027s special accomplishments included being a member of the Lions Club, the Elks Club and receiving the American SVC Medal, the EAME SVC Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. Richard enjoyed camping, fishing, vacations and hiking with mom in Arizona. He was proud to have served our country and was a great husband, father and grandfather. Richard is survived by sons Richard L. Totels (LeLania) of Texas and Loren S. Totels (Debbie) of Phoenix; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
