Robert H. Abbott

Robert H. Abbott, 90, of Cornville died November 10 in Medford, Oregon. He was born July 20, 1919 in Bakersfield, California the son of Cecil Hamilton Abbott and Hazell Larezelere Abbott. He was a decorated Army veteran of World war II. He received the good conduct medal, American Defense Service Medal, Europe African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He served in Northern France, Central Europe and Rhineland. Mr. Abbott was a Little League manager in Long Beach, California for many years. He worked as a technician in education. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Pauline Abbott who passed away in 2004. He leaves a brother George R. Abbott of Cornville; a granddaughter Amy Abbott; a grandson Kevin Lowrimore.
