Robert F. Bauman, 82, resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Robert was born on June 19, 1923 to Eno and Esther Bauman in Defiance, Ohio. Robert was a graduate of Libbey High School and then furthered his education at the University of Toledo, where he received his Doctor of Law. Robert lived in Toledo from 1923-2000, where he had his Private Law Practice for 25 years. Robert also served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Professionally, Robert worked as a teacher at Howe Military School, he researched and defended the American Indians, he also served as Attorney at Law and as an Evangelist with the Saints Gathered with the Lord Jesus Christ. Robert enjoyed sports and traveling and he loved gospel work. Robert was a man who always viewed life as, \u0027Better than he deserved\u0027; but for those who knew and loved him; he was seen as a man who walked close with Jesus Christ throughout his entire life and in everything that he did. He lived what he taught, and that was to work hard and care for people in need. Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Bauman. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Joyce D. Bauman, of Clarkdale, AZ; his sons, Mark Bauman (Marjorie) of Temperance, MI, Matthew Bauman (Janet) of Riverside, CA, Benjamin Bauman (Libbey) of Ida, MI, and Jonathon Bauman (Jill) of Orange, CA; his daughters, Beverly Haye (Robert) of Riverside, CA, Bonne McArthur of Mill Creek, WA, Rebecca Haye of Lambertville, MI, Elizabeth Shinn of Edmonds, WA, and Ruth Bauman of Carnation, WA, ; his sister, Nancy Shuman (Gordon) of Cottonwood, AZ; as well as, 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 6:00-8:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, AZ.
