Robert Franklin Smith, 74 of Cottonwood, passed away on May 10, 2011. He was born on April 26, 1937 in Hatch, New Mexico to Everet F. and Gertrude Smith. Robert worked for Goettl\u0027s Air Conditioning as supervisor. He taught his children how to work, be honest and loyal. Robert was faithfully in love with his wife Barbara for 28 years and helped take care of her autistic sons as his own prior to her death six years ago. Robert was "one cool cat." Robert was preceded in death by wife Barbara J. Smith and his parents Everet and Gertrude Smith. He is survived by sons Nicolas Ray Smith (Alice) of Kansas and Steve Mathew Smith (Donna) of Arizona; daughter Trevadonna Ingersol (Casey) of Nebraska; brother Richard Stanley Smith of Arizona; many cousins in Georgia, California and Nevada; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
