Robert Charles Gammonley was born March 5, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to James and Leona Gammonley.
Left this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 13, 2020.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 49 years, Nancy Gammonley.
Predeceased by his father, James Edward Gammonley, mother Leona Henrietta Gammonley ne Brown, and brother James David Gammonley.
Bob was raised in Chicago, Illinois, and in Van Nuys, California. He worked for Goodwill Industries where he met Nancy. He worked for 17 years in various jobs for R\u0026G Sloane Mfg. Co. Bob and Nancy moved to Las Vegas NV in 1990 where he worked in the retail food industry, retiring in 2002. In 2018, they moved to Arizona where Nancy's brother and sister live.
Bob had real artistic talent. He loved to draw, especially birds, animals and faces. He also loved photography and took wonderful pictures of scenery, sunsets and whatever caught his eye.
As a boy, Bob had a cherished Lionel train set, and his love of trains lasted his entire life. He also was a huge fan of old movies, especially westerns, and Hollywood stars. He never grew tired of John Wayne movies and collected numerous pieces of memorabilia from the 50s and 60s.
Bob loved animals, especially dogs, and he had numerous pets throughout his life. He also loved a good joke, both hearing and telling. He will be greatly missed by his wife, her family and his friends.
