Robert E. Young

Our beloved Robert Eugene Young entered into life on January 4, 1969 and departed on February 6, 2015 in Cottonwood, AZ. He was a devoted husband, loving father, conscientious son, and the baby brother. Robert spent most of his career serving the members of Y.E.S. The Arc where he constantly advocated for their rights and independence. He enjoyed family fun days, golf and playing pool. His playful nature brought joy to those around him. Robert was preceded in death by his father Eugene Young, brother-in-law David Brown Jr. and two nephews. He is survived by his wife DeShannan Young and his children Alexander and Bailee Young; mother Penny (Anthony) Spillman; parents-in-law Dave and Debra Brown; brothers Dan (Maureen) Young, Mark (Deborah) Young, Raymond (Karen) Young, Andrew (Shannon) Young; sisters Sharon (Don) Thompson, Christine (Tom) Gapinsky, Lidora Daymude, Rebecca Young; sister-in-law Dawn Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
