Roberta Rebecca Rosas

Roberta Rebecca Rosas, 42, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2006. She was born on November 1, 1963 in Flagstaff, Arizona to George and Elberta Short. Roberta worked for the Arroyo Roble Resort in Sedona, the Rio Verde in Cottonwood, and at the Lutheran Home Assisted Living Facility, also in Cottonwood. She was a devoted and dedicated wife and mother and cherished her roles as such. She enjoyed playing sports, camping, fishing and swimming. She was very involved with her children and all the activities and sports that come with being a mother. Roberta is preceded in death by her mother, Elberta Short. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Daniel Rosas of Cottonwood, Arizona; her children, Richard Rosas with Nikki, Brandy Rosas with Ismael, and Helen Rosas, all of Cottonwood, Arizona; 3 step-children, Chris Rosas with his wife Katrina, and Danny Rosas of Cottonwood and Anna Vice of Colorado; her father, George Short of Cornville, Arizona; her brother, Alfred Short of Yuma, Arizona; her sisters, Karen Isaksen with her husband, Michael of Mesa, Arizona and Jamie Short of Cottonwood; as well as, 2 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 from 5:00-7:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, Arizona. Funeral Services will follow Friday, August 25, 2006 at 10:00am, and will also be held at Westcott Funeral Home.
