Rodney Allen Pitts

Rodney Allen Pitts, Sr. was born June 9, 1959 in Phoenix, AZ and left us on April 16, 2018 in the place he loved most, Cornville, AZ. Rodney was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Wayne Pitts; all of his grandparents; two brothers (in-law) Steven Kennedy Sr. and Jimmy Grube and his nephew Steven Kennedy Jr. He is survived by his mother Colleen Pitts; his brother Brian Pitts; sisters Vicky Kennedy and Janett Peete; his sons Eric Kenneth Cardenas and Rodney Allen Pitts Jr. (Corinna Pitts); daughters Crystal Ann Pitts and Danika Ray Dawn Pitts; grandsons Marcus Richardson, Logan Michael, Jason Thomas and Owen Lee; granddaughters Keshia Richardson; Sadie Miller, Tatyanna Pitts and Aurora Pitts; many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as countless beloved friends. Rod was a long time Cornville resident, a die-hard Nascar fan and if it wasnt a race he was cheering on the Rams. Uncle Rod could always be counted on by all the kids to sneak them candy. He loved life and did his best to live it to the fullest. He was always there with a smile, bear hug, hello Darlin, a joke or one of his wild stories. He was greatly loved in life, a Cornville fixture and he will be deeply missed in death. Potluck Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00am at Moon Valley Park, 502 Ninth Coral Gable Drive, Phoenix, AZ. Potluck Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Old Corral Bar in Cornville. Race starts at 11:00am.
