Rolland W. Ward, 84, of Cottonwood died April 8 in Flagstaff. He was born November 28, 1921 in Anatone, Washington, the son of Charles and Maude (Malcolm) Ward. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II serving as a Lieutenant where he was awarded a distinguished flying cross. He was a member of the Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona. His interests were flying, shooting and business. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma Ward of Cottonwood; sons, Michael Ward and his wife Teri from Irvine, California and John Ward of Kathy of Long Beach, three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 20 in the Church of the Red Rocks at 1 PM.
