Ronald J. Peterson

Ronald J. Peterson, 67, a resident of Cornville (formerly of Sedona), died August 25, 2012. Ron was preceded in death by his life partner Joe Kozlovski. Ron served in the US. Army from 1965-67 where he earned the National Defense Services Medal, Sharpshooter Badge and Marksman Badge. He spent time in Korea, prior to being Honorably Discharged on Jan. 20, 1967. Ron was a successful businessman, owning and operating PS The Big Kids located in St. Louis Park, MN. Upon moving to Sedona in 2000 Ron quickly established himself at Chic Hair Salon where he practiced until his death. He was a highly regarded hair stylist and make-up artist, frequently requested for weddings and by artists. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 2:00pm at Sedona Rouge Resort and Spa, 2250 West Hwy. 89A, Sedona, Arizona, 86336.
