Ronda Lee Willard, 61, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2007. She was born in Baker, Oregon on August 19, 1945 to Romaine M. and Eloise (Wilson) Hook. Although not an inventor, nor patenting any process, Ronda's accomplishments were on a family theme, as that was what mattered most. She was a beautician, and a personal cook to a retired Coast Guard Officer. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and decorating-she indeed was a self-taught artist. She was also a violinist. Her main interest was in people, and she spent much of her time helping others. Ronda was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 36 years, and was also a Bible Educator. She thoroughly enjoyed the Bible's hope, and she loved to live by and teach its truth. In every aspect of her life, Ronda reflected Jehovah's Beauty, Isaiah 46:13, a faithful wife, a loving mother, and one that will be missed. She is preceded in death by her father, Romaine Hook. She leaves behind her husband of almost 30 years, Mark Willard of Cottonwood; her daughter, Kris (Pat) Schiffgen of Chino Valley; her mother, Eloise of Arlata, California; and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1310 Hwy 260 in Cottonwood.
