Roselind E. Polequaptewa

Roselind E. Polequaptewa, 78, of the Yavapai-Apache Nation in Middle Verde passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She was born November 28, 1933 in the Zuni Nation, New Mexico to Max and Hanna K. Telese. She attended Cottonwood schools and was a graduate of High School in Cottonwood and Baycon College in Oklahoma. Mrs. Polequaptewa was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Doreen A. Polequaptewa. She leaves sons Franklin Polequaptewa, Jr. of Cottonwood and Arten Richard Polequaptewa of Middle Verde; daughter Victoria Polequaptewa of Cottonwood; brothers Cecil Telese of Clarkdale and Robert Telese of Camp Verde; a sister Eathel Lewis (Lyman) of Clarkdale; granddaughters Felicia A. P. Lewis of Cottonwood, and Victoria Rose P. Lewis of Phoenix. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 27 at the Yavapai/Apache Nation Gym in Middle Verde from 5-8 PM.
