Rusty Allen Nix

Rusty Allen Nix (aka Allen Franks), 75 of Cottonwood, passed away on February 27, 2013. He was born on June 26, 1937 in Arp, Texas to Horace Nix and Cleo May Pirkle. Rusty was self-employed and an ordained Episcopal Minister. Rusty enjoyed hiking, prospecting, mining and electronics. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Rusty is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue; sons Gene Allen Franks (Debra) of Benson, AZ, Terry Allen Franks (Patsy) of Edna, TX and Timothy Lynn Franks (Kimberly) of Great Lakes, IL; daughter Christina Adell Young (Dylan) of Layton, UT; brother Jerry Nix (Eunice) of Grants Pass, OR; sister Judy Elimelich of Dallas, TX; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Rusty will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00am at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.
