Sally Thelma Tissaw

"Sally" Thelma Tissaw, 91, resident of Cornville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2007. She was born September 11, 1915 in Huntington Beach, California to Robert Edwin Lee and Nora M. Perrine. Professionally, Sally worked as an LPN, at Indio, Caceda Hospital, as well as at the White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, California. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed gardening, and shopping; she felt her greatest accomplishments in life came from her roles as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother-of which she fulfilled each with love and care. Sally is preceded in death by her husband, David Nathin Tissaw. She leaves behind her sons, Allen (Sharon) Sawyer of California, and Dennis (Vicki) Davis of Idaho; her daughters, Gaye Tissaw Frank, and Jennifer Tissaw, both of Cornville; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 5:00-7:00pm, followed by the funeral service on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11:00am. All services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home.
