Salvador \u0027Sal\u0027 C. Munoz, 84, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, died January 25, 2007. He was born May 18, 1922 in Jerome. A graduate of Jerome High School in 1940, Mr. Munoz joined the Army and served as a Corporal during World War II in the South Pacific. Mr. Munoz went on to get a degree in accounting and was a self employed Accountant and tax preparer for 45 years in San Bernardino, California. He was a licensed public accountant in California for 40 years and was and Enrolled Agent for 20 years. He retired in 1990 and he and his wife moved to Cottonwood. Mr. Munoz was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Thomas Munoz; his sister, Lupe Navor; and his brother, Juan Munoz. He is survived by his wife Josephine \u0027Josie\u0027 of 64 years; his son, David A. Munoz with his wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Patricia A. Hunt with her husband, Gordon; six grandchildren, Ezra Hunt, Heather Munoz, Alisha Munoz, Matthew Munoz, Jacueline Munoz, and Sidney Renne Munoz; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. A Visiation will be held on Sunday evening, January 28, 2007 from 5:00-7:00pm with the Rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home.
