Sandra Buehrer

Sandra Buehrer, 85, of Cornville died on Sunday, December 8, 2013. She was born on November 1, 1928 in Greybull, WY to Virgil H. and Charlotte Montgomery. She graduated from high school in Sidney, NE. Sandra worked for the Federal Government until retirement. She volunteered at the Cottonwood Public Library and at Montezuma\u0027s Castle. She enjoyed travelling around the state of Arizona with her husband Gene, reading, bird watching and wildflowers, learning about Arizona and Colorado history and was a supporter of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Sandra is survived by her husband Gene Buehrer, her son, Matthew (Lenore) Buehrer of Milton, VT, her daughter, Leslie (Dan) Bagley of Cottonwood and three grandchildren. A memorial service will take place in the spring of 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her name be made to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, 2021 N Kinney Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743.
