Sandra Lee Newton, 69, of Sedona died July 27. She was born February 25, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer P. and Rose H. Cinader Newton. She worked as a waitress. She enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends. Mrs. Newton was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Dean Newton; sons Jerry of Sedona, Tommy (Bev) and Ronald (Ivy), both of Cottonwood; brother John Condon (Julie) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Patty Pulsifer (Paul) of Congress; stepsisters, Byrna Falkner of Prescott and Kathy Martinez (Joe) of Estancia, New mexico; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 2 in the Sedona Assembly of God Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the Sedona Cemetery.
