Sharon P. James of Cornville died February 5, 2013. She was born on March 17, 1945 on Oak Park, Illinois to Donald and Bernadette Thornton. Sharon graduated from Trinity High School in Oak Park and attended Mosher Business School in Chicago, IL. Sharon met her husband on a blind date and was married 8 months later. They moved to Wisconsin in 1969 and retired to Arizona in 2001. Her interests were early 50\u0027s and 80\u0027s music. She loved dancing and karaoke. Another interest of hers was her involvement and teaching of little kids at her church, Peace Lutheran. She always thought of other people before herself. Sharon is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard James; her son Todd (Becky) and two grandsons, Mason and Preston of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Virginia Thomson; sister-in-law Gerry James; brother-in-law Douglas (Susan) and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10:30am with the service following at 11:00am at Peace Lutheran Church, 1450 E. Fir Street in Cottonwood.
