Shawn K. Dalhover, 29, of Boise, Idaho passed away at St. Alphonsus RMC in Boise on Monday, March 26, 2007, with family and friends at his side. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Summer's Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel - Meridian, ID. Shawn will be laid to rest in Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde, Arizona. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Middle Verde Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell Funeral Home, Boise, Idaho and Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood/Camp Verde, Arizona. Shawn was born November 28, 1977 in Mesa, Arizona to Julia (Edwards) Wayment and Kim Dalhover. Shawn has lived in Mesa, AZ, Imperial Beach, CA, Groton, CT, Norfolk, VA, Logan, UT, Portland, OR, and Boise, ID. Shawn lived the last 4 years with his girlfriend Jodi Lezamiz, and their dog, Eme in Boise, ID. Shawn was an avid bicycler who used that passion when he worked at Capitol Schwinn Sports, a job that he held for 10 years. Most recently he was a painter for Enterprise Painting. He loved outdoor activities and often went snowboarding and camping. Shawn attended the Art Institute of Portland and was an accomplished artist. He had a great skill for portraiture. His interest in Marvel Comics was often reflected in his artwork through sketched renditions of his favorite characters. Shawn also enjoyed Extreme Mountain biking, rock climbing, playing pool, cooking and being with his family and friends. Shawn is survived by his girlfriend Jodi Lezamiz, of Boise, ID; his mother and stepfather, Julia and Larry Wayment, of Boise, ID; his father, Kim Dalhover of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by his siblings: Alicia (Jason) Price, Brian (Dominique) Dalhover, Carrie Wayment, all of Boise, ID, Heather (Chad) Paulson, of New Castle, CO, Heidi Wayment (Paul Popeck) of Salt Lake City, UT; his grandparents: Ginger and Buff Edwards of Lake Montezuma, AZ, Mary and Grant Wayment of Kaysville, UT, Rachel Dalhover of Apache Junction, AZ, his dog Eme and countless extended family and friends.
