Steven Lane Laney, 50, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007. He was born June 22, 1956 in Greeley, Colorado to Bob and Lavonne (Neff) Laney. Steven attended the Shoshoni High School, and he was a Private in the United States Army. Steven worked on Oil Rigs and also did yard maintenance. He was very talented in the art of pipe-making; he also enjoyed camping, fishing, rock hunting and panning for gold. Steven was the most kind-hearted, generous man. He always wanted to help those he loved, and he provided wonderful support and great advice. To know him-changed your life forever, and to lose him-forever changes life again. He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Laney; and his grandparents, Emma and George Neff. He leaves behind his loving mother, Lavonne McConnell of Wyoming; two sisters, Terri Nave with her husband Don, and Wendy Vore with her husband Jeff, all of Wyoming.
