Terry Leroy Flyger

Terry L. Flyger, age 62, resident of Rimrock, Arizona, passed away peacefully at his home, with his family near his side on Friday, August 18, 2006. He was born in Viborg, South Dakota on March 23, 1944. He was the son of Merle E. and Laverna E. (Hoffman) Flyger. Having resided in Arizona for the past 20 years, Terry is well known for building multiple custom-made homes throughout the Verde Valley. He is preceded in death by his father, Merle E. Flyger. Terry leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Rita Flyger of Rimrock, AZ; his son, Paul Flyger of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his daughters, Dana Womack, with her husband Brian of Westminster, Maryland, and Teresa Flyger of San Francisco, California; his sister, Ruth Skinner of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his mother, Laverna Flyger of Viborg, South Dakota; and his only granddaughter, Samantha Womack. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 12:00-2:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, Arizona. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 51 W. Mingus Ave., also in Cottonwood, Arizona.
