Thelma Rose Foss, 78, of Cottonwood died September 5. She was born May 11, 1932 in Alhambra, California, the daughter of Frank Joseph Hall and Rose Winifred Doidge Hall. She was a graduate of Manual Arts High School. She worked as a dietitian and cook. She loved dogs and cats and liked to sew and crochet. A very good cook, she was especially known for her cheesecake, pumpkin chiffon and mincemeat pies. She leaves her sons Frank W. Foss (Irene) of Cottonwood, Jay E. Foss (Emma) of Santa Ana, California and Kory G. Foss (Betsy) of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter Marlene M. Foss-Anderson (Keith, Sr.) of Moreno Valley, California; a sister Mildred Rubsch of Bakersfield, California; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
