Theodore Stefanek, of Rimrock passed in his home peacefully and with dignity after 96 years of a life well-lived. Ted was a man of high charisma, slow to anger, easy with laughter and a joyful smile. As a very young man he enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly and honorably served during World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. After serving our country Ted worked as a Tool and Die maker. 41 years ago, Ted retired from his career and he and his wife moved to Rimrock. Here he built his home. A home he was proud of, a home he shared with family and friends, a home he died in. One of his many pleasures was dancing and he went every Sunday. Ted was predeceased by his lovely bride Dovie; parents Adam and Eve; brothers and sisters Bruno, Irene, Walter, John, Dorothy, Robert, and Franklin. Ted is survived by his sister Eleanor and many nephews and nieces. Services will be held at Montezuma Chapel on Monday July 24 at 9:45 followed by his burial at Sedona Community Cemetery at 11:30am. Repast will be at held for family and friends immediately following burial at Ted’s home.`
