Thola Dee Settle Daniels died suddenly on July 20, 2006 at 86 years old. She was preceded in death by J. Graham Daniels, her husband and childhood sweetheart, and her brother Bob Settle. She was born in Independence, MO and lived in CA, IL, OK, UT, CO, and AZ throughout her life. She was a loving, caring and involved mother, homemaker, master seamstress and quilter. Her other interests included collecting shells and dolls. She loved gardening, reading, traveling, bowling, and playing bridge. Activities included Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters, church youth group advisor, Girl Scout volunteer, President of the American Society of Civil Engineers Auxiliary, member of Eastern Star and she volunteered throughout her life with organizations in her churches and communities. She is survived by her sister Shirley and husband Lou of Ft. Meyers, FL, her sister-in-law Mickey of Kansas City, MO, daughters Sheryll and husband Bill of Flagstaff, AZ, Sue and husband John of Irvine, CA, Diane and husband David of Prescott, AZ, and Karen and husband Jay of Trumansburg, NY. She had seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her strong independent nature and quiet disposition. Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 10:00am at Verde Valley Presbyterian Church, 1500 E. Hombre, Cottonwood, AZ.
