Tilda M. McComas

Tilda Marie Babb McComas, 76, of Cottonwood died September 27, 2010. She was born October 5, 1933 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Hilma Hughes. She attended Country School and Park Rapids High School. Mrs. McComas was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister and mother. Her husband, Marvin McComas preceded her in death. Mrs. McComas leaves sons Chuck Morris of Phoenix and Jim Thompson (Anita) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughters Karen Rivera of Atwater, California and Grace Brown (Courtney) of Camp Verde and family friend Cindy Olson of Rimrock; brothers Alfred Hughes (Dianne) of Minnesota and Melvin Hughes (Jane) of Minnesota; sisters Hilma Wright (Cliff) of Washington, Nancy Tighe (Greg) of Minnesota, Joanne Wright (Rick) of Minnesota and Helen Pfeifer (A.J.) Minnesota. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 1 PM.
