Travis Shilling

Travis Shilling, 21, passed away on June 25, 2023, in a traffic accident in Scottsdale. He was born on March 5, 2002. His parents, Cory and Jennifer, raised him along with his brother Wyatt in the Verde Valley.

Travis went to Clarkdale-Jerome School and graduated from Mingus Union High School in 2020. He moved to Phoenix and worked his dream job at the Phoenix Zoo.

Travis was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved all sports. He was a huge Bengals and Cowboys fan and loved all things orange. He was a loyal friend and had the best group of friends. He was known for his infectious laugh and loyalty. Travis lit up the room, and everyone loved him. Those who knew Travis, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Travis is survived by his parents, Cory and Jennifer, his brother Wyatt (Makayla), grandparents Larry and Vickie Shilling, Karen Mediz, and Conrad and Cindy Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on July 8, 2023, at 10:00 at the Clarkdale-Jerome School Gymnasium.
