Vernon Paul Springman, 90, of Cottonwood died February 28. He was born July 22, 1920 in Salem, Missouri, the son of Frank and Audrey (Powell) Springman. He served his country in World War II in the Army where he received the silver star. He was a self employed upholsterer. Mr. Springman was preceded in death by his wife, Lois F. Springman and a son Richard W. Springman. He leaves his son, Robert Russell (Dianne) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Randal Springman of Palmdale, California and Ronald Springman of Wasilla, Arkansas and a daughter Carol Brown (Donald) of Cottonwood; and ten grandchildren.
