Vicky Dru Nichols

Vicky Dru Nichols, 56, of Clarkdale died January 4. She was born July 15, 1953 in Wellington , Kansas , the daughter of Ronald M. and Jean D. Nichols. She received her Associate degree in Fine arts from Cottey College in Missouri in 1973. She received her Masters Degree of Arts in Speech Pathology from Wichita State University in 1976. She worked for the Aztec Municipal Schools from 1996 to 2008.Miss Nichols was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a stake singles Representative, a Relief Society teacher and a Relief society 2nd Counselor. Her hobbies included knitting, silk ribbon embroidery, jewelry making and reading. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virgil and Margaret Nichols and Herb and Helen Davidson and nephew Cory Scholfield. She leaves her parents; and brother David Nichols (Robin) of Woodlands, Texas; sister Cindy Scholfield of Durango, Colorado; nephews Dustin Scholfield and Tyler Scholfield; nieces Ali Nichols and Candice Nichols.
