"Virginia" Ruth V. Berry

Ruth \u0027Virginia\u0027 Berry, a resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, returned to her beloved Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, her 85th birthday. Virginia was born in Jackson, Tennessee to William and Annie (Lewis) Wynns. Virginia dearly loved her parents (now deceased), and was her \u0027Daddy\u0027s Girl\u0027...her entire life. Virginia loved music. She always listened to the Grand Ole\u0027 Opry, which helped found her love for music. Her favorite song was \u0027Baby Likes to Rock\u0027, which was sang by one of her favorite groups; \u0027The Tractor\u0027. In her younger years, she also experienced a \u0027once-in-a-lifetime\u0027 event when she had the privilege of playing the guitar with Eddie Arnold in a back-up group. Virginia worked a variety of jobs throughout her life; in which some included clerical and working in the local schools. She also served as a Sunday School Teacher, serving her Lord, whom she dearly loved and was devoted to. Virginia was a free spirit and loved life! She enjoyed every minute of every day. She loved walking and being outdoors, and she especially loved to fly. Virginia was talented in quilting and crocheting and she also enjoyed reading and loved playing games with her family. Virginia loved people. More than anything, she loved spending time with those she loved the most, her family and her dear friends. Virginia was the devoted and loving mother of Judy Lerette with husband Ted, of Cottonwood, Arizona, Rose Kiley with husband Tom, of Chino Valley, Arizona and Betty Lawrence with husband Billy, of Desbit, Mississippi; the cherished sister of Sue King of Martin, Tennessee; and the adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
