Virginia Lee Summers

Virginia Lee (Bearden) Summers, 89 of Cottonwood since 1982, passed away on January 31, 2014. She was born on October 20, 1924 in Marion, Illinois to parents Alfred and Opal. Virginia was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herman E. Summers and sons Glenn Earl and Herman Jr. She is survived by sons Lowell Freeman (Marilyn) and Gerald Neil (Jennifer); grandchildren Cody, Kylee, Jeremy and Jessica; sisters Winifred and Phyllis (Richard) and nephew Kenneth. Services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. The visitation will begin at 12:30pm with the service following at 1:00pm.
