Wallace Murrin Huff passed away on January 31, 2023. He was born February 4, 1939, in Spearfish, South Dakota to Murrin Elery Huff and Alice Mae Davis Huff. Wallace attended school in Spearfish, SD through 3rd grade. He later attended the University of Idaho for 4+ years and received a BS (Forestry). He served in the United States Air Force with the rank of Sergeant, E-5. He was employed with Bunker Hill Mining Co 1957 – 1958, University of Idaho 1962, USFS Forestry Service 1962 – 1994, Coldwell Banker Real Estate 1996 – 2012. Wallace’s special accomplishments were Law Enforcement training USFS 1979, Fire Team Member USFS 1981 – 1994. He enjoyed fly fishing, archery, hunting, ATV/UTV riding, motorcycle riding, camping and traveling. Wallace is preceded in death by his daughter Jill Rene and sister Althea Dorelle Van Wyck. He is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Barbara of Arizona; Son Jay Matthew Huff (Crystal) of Idaho; sister Anita Mardelle Hammond of Washington; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
