Walter Rehborg, 84, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born April 26, 1922 to William and Ella Rehborg in Gwinner, North Dakota, where he spent his childhood and attended the local schools. Walter served his country during WWII in the United States Navy as a Ships Cook Second Class. He worked as a marble sawyer with Falk Corporation and was self employed as a carpenter, owning and operating Rehborg's Carpenter Service. Walter utilized his great skills with carpentry and built he and his wife's retirement home in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. He was a good husband and father, helping to raise his family of eight. He enjoyed his flower garden, fishing, and gardening. Walter leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, Ruth Rehborg of Cottonwood, Arizona; his six sons, Larry with his wife, Sandra of Arizona, Danny with his wife, Suzanne of Minnesota, Steven and his wife, Caroline of Wisconsin, Richard and his wife, Julianne of Wisconsin, Jonathan and his wife, Tamara also of Wisconsin, and David with his wife, Wendy of Arizona; his two daughters, Anita Sachs with husband, Roger of Wisconsin, and Nancy Brellentine with her husband, Benard also of Wisconsin; 22 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 10:00am in Cottonwood at the Peace Lutheran Church, where Walter was proud to be a member.
