Wayne Bechtel

Wayne Bechtel, 94, of Cottonwood died July 24, 2011. He was born May 23, 1917 in Glencoe, Oklahoma, the son of Eslie and Jesie Bechtel. He worked 52 years for Helmrich \u0026 Payne Oil Company in Oklahoma in many functions over his career. Wayne is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Bechtel. He is survived by a son, Charles Bechtel (Naomi) of Cottonwood; a sister Norma Slaughter of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 2 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 1 PM. Inurnment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
