William H. Bowers

William H. Bowers, 75, of Dewey, AZ, born September 7, 1938 in OH, passed away May 25, 2014. Mr. Bowers had resided in AZ for 65 years. Many of those years were spent in Silverbell and Marana where he worked and retired from the copper mines of ASARCO. Some of the most important and sentimental portions of his life were those of his military service while aboard Naval ships. Bill loved befriending neighbors and doing anything he could to help them. He was an avid collector, outdoor enthusiast, adventurer, woodworker and silversmith. He is survived by his wife, Erna; two children, William L. Bowers and Karen L. Webster and nine grandchildren.
