William H. Gibbons

William H. Gibbons, 82, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007. He was born in Douglas, Arizona on August 5, 1925. William was a WWII Veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He worked for and retired from the Phoenix Cement Plant in Clarkdale. William was a wonderful, loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Jacquelyn J. Gibbons; three sons, William J. Gibbons with his wife, Tamera of Phoenix, Thomas E. Gibbons with his wife, Rickie of Missouri, and John S. Gibbons with his wife, Mary of Phoenix, his daughter, Patricia K. Bice with her husband, Chuck of Nevada; four grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 5:00-7:00pm, with the Funeral Service to follow Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 9:30am. All services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home.
