William R. Mundine, 84 of Cottonwood, passed away at home on April 6, 2013. He was born on July 10, 1928 in Douglas, Arizona to William Mundine and Amy Teague. William attended school in Camp Verde. He served his country during WWII. He worked as a fireman in the Navajo Army Depot in Belmont, AZ. William\u0027s greatest accomplishment was his 55 years of marriage to his wife Katie May Mundine. William enjoyed polishing rocks and rock hunting. He taught himself how to program computers and enjoyed surfing the internet. William was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all. William was preceded in death by his wife Katie and son Bill Jerry Mundine. He is survived by son Ted D. Mundine (Anne) of Glendale; daughter Joy R. Mundine (Robert Seiser); brothers Harm Sellers of Phoenix and Jim Gunalelack of Cottonwood; sisters Hellen Kilby of Wickiup, AZ and Katie Dutet (Curtis) of Tucson, AZ; granddaughters Angela and Katie Ann; grandson William Lee; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the American Legion, 480 S. Calvary Way in Cottonwood from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
