Willis Roger ''Slick'' Hardin

Willis Roger \u0027\u0027Slick\u0027\u0027 Hardin, 65, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away on October 17th, at his home. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 25, 1938. As a young child, he and his family moved to Winslow, Arizona where he grew up and attended school. He was a retired heating/air conditioning technician and he worked for 20 years on the Salt River Project in Page, Arizona. He also worked for on the Trans Western Gas Pipe Line, the El Paso Gas Line and at the Peabody Coal Mine. Mr. Hardin is survived by his wife: Mary Frances Hardin; his mother: Maxine Hardin Jenkins of Sun City, Arizona; four daughters: Sherrie Crawford of Phoenix; Billie Jo McFarland of Patagonia; Jamie howell of Flagstaff; Carma Rauls of Texas; four sons: Ronald Hardin; Rodger Hardin of Washington; Jimmie Hardin; Rodney Hardin; three sisters: Wyla Hohn of Sun City, Arizona; Sandra Brown of Bakersfield, California; Elyse Hardin; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Page, Arizona. Inurnment will follow at the Page Community Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be sent to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Ln, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 or to the American Cancer Association. Westcott Funeral Home was entrusted with these arrangements.
